WHAT WE DO | Fair Administration of Justice

The Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency for the District of Columbia (CSOSA) is committed to supporting the fair administration of justice by providing criminal justice decision-makers with timely, unbiased, and accurate information. This information may be used, among other things, to aid decision-making in individual cases, make budget-related decisions, or better understand the supervised population in the District of Columbia.

Upholding public safety involves CSOSA’s meaningful collaboration with several criminal justice partners in the city, including the Metropolitan Police Department, Superior Court for the District of Columbia, and District of Columbia Department of Corrections, as well as the Pretrial Services Agency for the District of Columbia, Federal Bureau of Prisons, United States Parole Commission, United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia, and United States Marshals Service.
